Omar Corr was born in the Gambia in 1985. He started painting at the early age of 12. His drawings and paintings started attracting neighbors, friends, and teachers and this encouraged him so greatly.

Omar attended Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) Banjul and obtained a Diploma in Architectural Draughtsman.

He is presently a full-time artist at the studio of Mr. Baboucarr Faal where he was exposed to the technique of Canvas Painting and pictorial batik. Omar works in a variety of media, most of his works are two-dimensional in both realism and abstract forms executed in acrylic and oil on canvas.

​Omar has been very hard working as a young artist. He has sold many paintings to raise $700 for the foundation projects.
